Radu VÂLCU was born in Bucharest, Romania in 1989. He started the study of classical guitar at the age of 12 at George Enescu Highschool, with professor Liviu Georgescu. He graduated from the National University of Music in Bucharest, the class of composer Prof. Catalin Stefanescu-Patrascu in 2014 and continued his master studies in the same university under the coordination of Prof. Catalin Stefanescu-Patrascu. He also attended the master classes of Carlo Marchione, Pablo Garribai, Alexis Muzurakis and Gerhard Reichenbach. He obtained more than 30 awards in festivals throughout Europe and was invited to concert in major cities of Romania, as well as in Grece, Germany, Netherlands and United States.

Radu VÂLCU s-a născut în București în 1989. A început studiul chitarei clasice la vârsta de 12 ani la Liceul George Enescu, cu profesorul Liviu Georgescu. Și-a continuat studiile cu profesorul și compozitorul Cătălin Ștefănescu-Pătrașcu la Universitatea Națională de Muzică din București. Până la vârsta de 25 de ani el a obținut numeroase premii la festivaluri renumite din Europa și a fost invitat la concerte în marile orașe din România, dar și în Serbia, Germania, Olanda și Statele Unite ale Americii.

Radu VÂLCU 1989-ben született Bukarestben. 12 évesen kezdett klasszikus gitárt tanulni a George Enescu Gimnáziumban, Liviu Georgescu professzorral. A bukaresti Nemzeti Zeneművészeti Egyetemen folytatta tanulmányait, Cătălin Ștefănescu-Pătrașcu zeneszerző mellett. 25 éves koráig számos díjat nyert közismert európai fesztiválokon, és több koncertfelkérése is volt Románia nagyobb városaiban, valamint Szerbiában, Németországban, Hollandiában és az Egyesült Államokban.
