The building of the former Casino from Cluj-Napoca was erected in an eclectic style in 1897, according to the plans of the famous architect Pákey Lajos, together with the Skating Rink Pavilion – Chios; the Casino, the Pavilion, the bandstand and the well were the main attractions of the park.The building of the former Casino currently houses an important urban culture center of the municipality.

Clădirea fostului Casino din Cluj-Napoca a fost edificată în stil eclectic în anul 1897, după planurile cunoscutului arhitect Pákey Lajos (împreună cu Pavilionul Patinoarului – Chios) alcătuind alături de acesta, chioșcul pentru fanfară și fântâna, punctul principal de interes al Parcului Central din Cluj-Napoca. Clădirea fostului Casino găzduiește în prezent un important Centru de Cultură Urbană a municipalității.

HU:
A kolozsvári régi Kaszinó eklektikus stílusban épült Pákey Lajos híres építész tervei alapján. 1897-ben avatták fel. A korcsolyapálya pavilonja – a Chios –, a zenepavilon és a szökőkút voltak a park fő látnivalói. Manapság a régi Kaszinó épülete a Városi Kultúra Központnak ad otthont.
